I think it all started the first time we got to sit on grandpas, or maybe it was dads lap and steer that tractor through the field.  Or maybe you remember the first time you were old enough to run that tractor all by yourself and only then you knew farming was going to be your way of life. Those were the days when you dreamed that you would grow up to be that great farmer.  It seemed much easier back then you could watch your mentors do the hard work or make those hard decisions. But none the less 3 generations later it is our turn operating the family farm in central Illinois. We operate a grain farm with corn and soybeans being the primary crops we grow. Almost all operations are performed by us. We do what we can to support the local businesses when updating machinery, getting our agricultural supplies, and selling our crops. Hands down, it is the best way to help the local economy. Feel free to look around our site, down the road we will be adding products that we like and maybe that is something that you may want to try too.
